This ring is made of high-quality gold vermeil, meaning it features a thick layer of gold, at least 3 microns, over a solid 925 sterling silver base. Sterling silver is chosen for its value as a precious metal and its hypoallergenic qualities. The gold layer is significantly thicker than standard gold plating or flash plating, resulting in a more durable and longer-lasting finish.
